In 1995 she completed her master's degree at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the University of Agriculture in Kraków. In the same year she started working in the Road and Bridge Research Institute in the Promotion, Training and International Cooperation Division.  Among other matters she was involved inthe organization of international conferences, trainings and seminars. She has also coordinated the Institute's actions within the framework of cooperation with foreign partners.



In 2005 she took the position of the Head of the Foreign Fund Services Division and in 2007 the position of the Head of the International Cooperation Division and she was mainly responsible for:

  •  coordination of the Institute's involvement in projects financed/co-financed with foreign and domestic funds,
  • coordination of work connected with the preparation of project applications, documents necessary for signing an agreement with a supervision unit (e.g. with the European Commission, the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), the National Science Centre (NCN), the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW), the Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction (MIiB)), verification of financial reporting and documentation required by the external auditors, cooperation with the the Promotion Division in regards to the promotion of the ongoing projects
  • the Institute's cooperation with foreign partners and in particular with the European Commission, the Forum of European National Highway Research Laboratories (FEHRL) and the  Conference of European Directors of Roads (CEDR).

Since 2008 she has represented the Road and Bridge Research Institute in FEHRL as a Research Coordinator.
She completed numerous courses and trainings in the scope of acquiring EU funds, preparation of applications within the EU Framework Programmes and Structural Funds, international project management, correct settlement of subsidies. In 2007 within the framework of one of the projects of the 6th  EU Framework Programme she underwent a few-month long internship in the FEHRL’s  headquarters in Brussels. 

From 2015 to 2016 she was the  Organising Committee Chairman of the international conference Transport Research Arena 2016 (TRA2016), the biggest and the most important conference in the field of transport in Europe, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction, the European Commission, the European Technology Platforms and CEDR.
She was responsible for all actions related to organization of the conference itself and all accompanying events (exhibition, shows, seminars, project consortium meetings). She coordinated the cooperation between the Organizing Committee the Programme Committee and the Management Committee as well as the activities linked to the preparation of special guests' visits (among others the European Commissioner for Transport Ms. Violeta Bulc, the representatives of the Polish government). She also performed the supervision of sponsor agreements and coordinated the actions of the Road and Bridge Research Institute and European Commission’s subcontractors aimed at the promotion of TRA2016.

Since 1st January she has held the position of the Deputy Director.
